After the devastating wildfires that destroyed Lahaina on my home island of Maui the entire island sprang to action immediately. Anyone who was able began working towards helping those most impacted in any way they possibly could. The community rallied donating funds, physical items, opening their homes, and fundraising. While the island continues to grieve, we’ve had an incredible opportunity to show our aloha to our Island ‘Ohana. This image of Front Street in Lahaina was taken August 7th, 2023; the morning before the fires. I had no idea it would be the last time I would be capturing this image of this beloved piece of Maui. Profits from this print go directly to those most severely impacted by the wildfires. Funds are either spent directly on items shelters need or donated to various non-profits or individuals who have lost everything. This month profits will be going to help my photography Ohana who have lost everything in the fires.
