ABOUT ME

I've had a profound connection to the ocean ever since I was a child.

It's led me to pursue a career in marine biology and put me in touch with the mystical aspects of the water and her creatures. I now share the many things I’ve learned with children of all ages. Being a mermaid incorporates a lot of light-hearted play but also allows us to uncover the amazing Magic that hides within our depths.

EXPERIENCE

I have been in love with the ocean ever since i was a child. This passion led me to earn my B.S in Marine Biology from Hawai’i Pacific University in 2013. Upon graduating I worked in Alaska as a Fisheries Observer in the Bering Sea. Unsatisfied with that position, I returned to Maui to share the beauty of the reefs as a professional mermaid.

Safety and Water Certifications:

Lifeguard (First aid, AED, CPR), Skin Diving Instructor, Rescue Scuba Diver, Level 1 Freediver, Creator of the NAUI Mermaid Program

Recent accomplishments include:

• Hawai’i Ecotourism Sustainable Tour Guide of the Year 2018 for ongoing collaboration with Hawai’i Mermaid Adventures

• Alternate Performer for nationally recognized performance troupe Circus Siren Pod

• Published Author of, “To Become A Mermaid”

• Founder of Mermaid Dream Retreats

• Creator of Mermaid Level 1 Skin Diving Certification with the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI).

• Featured on “Everything Mermaid” as one of the Top mermaid Camps in US

• Featured in Girls in Ocean Science Blog

• Public Speaking events in Seattle, FLorida, and Virginia

• By the end of 2018 I have logged over 500 hours of time teaching people to connect to Maui reefs as mermaids.
